We will not share your personal data with any third parties without your prior consent. 8. AUTOMATED PROCESSING 8.1 We may occasionally consult with third party marketing organisations who use automated processing of anonymised personal data to make recommendations on economic or predictable consumer purchasing behaviours. We do not make decisions which affect an individual based purely on automated processing activities. 8.2 We occasionally carry out a credit checks on customers: 8.2.1 so that we can make credit decisions about you; and 8.2.2 to prevent fraud and money laundering. 8.3 Our search may be recorded on the files of the credit reference agency, if one is used. 8.4 If further to undertaking a credit check you receive a low credit score, we reserve the right not to supply you with goods or services on credit and/or require upfront payment for the goods or services you wish to purchase. What personal data we collect and why we collect it Comments 10 When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Media 11 If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Contact forms 12 When someone submits a contact form, we keep the data consisting of Customers’ Name, Email address Telephone Number. We keep contact form submissions for a period of 3 months for customer service purposes only. We not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes. Embedded content from other websites 13 Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. Analytics Who we share your data with 14 We will share your details for payment purposes only to Barclaycard EPDQ Services. The data that is shared is as follows: Full name, Registered Card address, card Number, Expiry date, Any Order Reference quoted. We use this data to process order payments only, by entering them into a secure virtual terminal online. These details are not stored anywhere onsite, on any machine, computer or textbook. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. 14.3 For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. 14.4 What rights you have over your data If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
